Hello Everyone, Soares here.

Does any of you have the solution for the Omen Gaming Hub problem? Unstable Network and Sometimes stuck on the Log Page? I've been struggling with that for a while now, I've tried to reset, uninstall and install, many things I've seen in videos.

I would like to add I'm using the windows 11, and on the services tab won't appear Omen gaming HSA even after trying the to install Omen gaming hub SDK package!

If you have any tips please contact me at Edited

Thanks your attention

Hi @Soares239,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I know how frustrating it feels when you’re all set to game and the OMEN Gaming Hub greets you with a frozen login screen or that annoying unstable network message. Let’s get this working again so you can enjoy your setup, which refuses to load. Below are the recommended steps to try.

1. Completely Remove Old OMEN Gaming Hub + SDK (Deep Clean)

Sometimes remnants of past installs cause the missing HSA Service.

Steps

  1. Uninstall OMEN Gaming Hub
    • Settings → Apps → Installed Apps → OMEN Gaming Hub → Uninstall
  2. Uninstall OMEN SDK Package
    • OMEN Gaming Hub SDK Package
    • HP System Event Utility (if present)
    • Look for:
  3. Delete leftover folders
These folders often hold corrupt files:

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\HPInc...OMENGamingHub...

C:\ProgramData\HP\Omen

C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP System Event

(If Windows blocks the Windows Apps folder, skip it.)

       4. Restart your PC (important)

2. Install OMEN Gaming Hub Fresh From Microsoft Store

This ensures you’re getting the correct signed build.

3. Install the Required SDK Package Manually

If the HSA Service is missing, the SDK install is usually the key.

After installation, check here:

  1. Press Win + R → services.msc
  2. Look for:
    • OMEN HSA Service
    • OMEN Light Studio Service (optional)

If it’s there, right‑click → Start.

4. Reset Network Components Used by OMEN

An unstable network inside OGHub often comes from WinHTTP corruption.

Run these commands in Command Prompt (Admin):

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

netsh winhttp reset proxy

ipconfig /flushdns

Then restart your PC, and you should feel like the system “breathes out” as it refreshes its network stack.

5. Reinstall HP System Event Utility

This utility controls keyboard lighting and HSA triggers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
