Omen/Home problems

I use the Home Key a lot, more that I realised.

Obviously, not having a Home key is a pain, but there is a worse problem.  I type automatically, without thinking about each key stroke.  So when I need to "home", i automatically press the Omen key.

This is incredibly disruptive.  The Omen Command Center is quite slow and noisy when it launches.  Can I disable it?  I'd like a Home key, but I really do not want an Omen key!

I've edited my post from the other thread. Hopefully that will make more sense. I linked the actual installer.

Only way to alter the Home key is with a registry fix. Otherwise, no you cannot disable the Omen Command Center Key as it stands.

The Omen Command Center can be uninstalled, but I don't think you want to do that as it controls your keyboard lighting and such.  The loud music that plays when it first opens cannot be disabled unfortunately.

Thanks. I'll look at the other post again.

At the moment, I cannot see any use for the Omen Command Center.  I removed all the HP specific software from my previous HP laptop and that really improved things.
