OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0008ca

The laptop screen will on occasion go blank and then on startup windows will report the following error: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).

I have tried a variety of fixes and reinstalling the driver will temporarily fix the issue, but then the system will crash again a few days later and on restart will report the device error. Update: The error now appears randomly: sometimes on start-up; sometimes after some use.

I have scanned for viruses, tried a variety of fan/power supply configurations/switched between discrete/hybrid  etc. etc. but the problems will eventually reappear.  Happily the laptop is still under extended warranty so if it turns out to be a hardware problem can have it fixed, but wanted to first check if there is a software solution.

UPDATE: Rolled back laptop to Windows 10. Still seeing the same error. As there doesn't seem to be a response to this question... time to use my warranty.

Thank you for any help that can be provided!
