I’m going to be receiving an omen max 16 for my birthday. It’s the config with the 5080 and core ultra 9 275hx. Does anyone have information on whether or not your able to undervolt the cpu on these config?

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

 

Unfortunately, an HP Omen Max 16 (even with the latest BIOS updates) cannot be undervolted.  HP has locked the feature to "prevent system instability". This is due to a hardware-level "Intel Undervolt Protection" enabled in the BIOS, which prevents both the Omen Gaming Hub and other software such as ThrottleStop from making voltage adjustments.
