Omen comand center issue on HP Omen laptop

Hi,

The omen command center keeps popping up and I cannot control my monitor. I cannot type or do anything. It took 15 minutes to type this matter due to the same issue. How can I disable the omen command center

Hello @SanuVarkey 

That is very strange and I haven't had this happen to me before.

But perhaps this might help...

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del to open the Task Manager.

Select the Startup tab.

Look for the Omen Command Center Background in the list.

Click once on it to highlight it, then click the Disable button.

Exit out and reboot the PC.

Does it stop popping up now?

Thank you for your reply. I have done what you suggested. But still, it keeps popping up. It happens sometime after the PC is turned on. And when it starts doing this. It is very difficult to work. It won't let me control the system.

When it happens again, could you take a screen shot so I can see what it looks like?

Press the Windows button and Printscrn to take a screen shot, if you mouse doesn't work.

Apologies for the late reply.  I'll have to pass this on to the team at HP.

In the mean time, If the Command Center does work, click on the Feedback button at the bottom and it will let you report issues. If we both report this stuff, one of us will get heard.

After that, all I can suggest right now is to uninstall the command center until I can find the answer.

Thank you for your reply. 

I have tried uninstalling, but then it will keep pop up the message " you need to install this app to open Omen command center".

As you mentioned I have submitted this via the feedback form.
