Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have really similar issue like described here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/Omen-laptop-crashes-when-playing-games/td-p/6505837 .

When I am using only battery video games work ok, but when I would like to play with plugged in AC adapter there is a problem - notebook is freezing and sometimes buzzing. Probably it is adapter issue/PSU or GPU. Here I also posted video with issue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cLNoHcDuko . I updated drivers and cleaned fans with compressed air. I also ran HP Diagnostics and all tests passed. Any ideas what could it be ? 😞

Hi @danielu221,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Meanwhile, try updating BIOS

When a new BIOS update becomes available, HP Support Assistant can update your computer automatically. HP computers with Windows come with HP Support Assistant (HPSA) installed.

  1. In Windows, search for and open HP Support Assistant.

If the app is not installed on your computer, download the latest version from the HP Support Assistant website.

  2. On the My devices tab, find your computer, and then click Updates.

  3. Click Check for updates and messages to get the latest updates.

  4. Wait while Support Assistant works.

  5. If a new BIOS update is available, click the check box next the BIOS update and any other updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

  6. When HP Support Assistant finishes, close the tool.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
