i cant find the proformance option in Omen gaming hub, i try finding the solution but it never works, i dont know what i can do but i hope someone can help me with the isssue.

I understand you're unable to find the Performance Control (or Performance tab) in OMEN Gaming Hub on your Victus by HP 15.6" Gaming Laptop – 15-fb2000 (9V7M9AV) running Windows 11. Let's walk through some key steps to get that feature visible or confirm if it’s available for your model.


First, here’s what you need to know:

The Performance Control tab (for adjusting system cooling modes, fan speed, and power usage) is only available on select models that support OMEN Dynamic Power and Performance Tuning. Some Victus models do not include this feature due to hardware limitations.


Try These Steps:

Update OMEN Gaming Hub and System Events Utility

  • Open Microsoft Store > Click on Library > Look for updates to OMEN Gaming Hub and HP System Event Utility.
  • You can also download the latest OMEN Gaming Hub from HP's support site or Microsoft Store directly.
  • Restart your system after installing.

Ensure HP Performance Tuned BIOS Is Installed

  • Go to: Official HP® Support
  • Enter your product: Victus by HP 15-fb2000
  • Check for the latest BIOS update and install it.
  • BIOS updates often unlock features like Performance Control if your hardware supports it.

Check for Windows & Driver Updates

  • Open Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
  • Also run HP Support Assistant to check for hardware-specific updates.

Run HP System Info in OMEN Gaming Hub

  • Launch OMEN Gaming Hub.
  • Go to "My Games" > "System Vitals".
  • If Performance tab still doesn’t show, your specific configuration might not support performance tuning.

If your Victus model doesn’t include OMEN Performance Control, you’ll still get great performance through:

  • Windows Performance Settings (Settings > System > Power & Battery > Power Mode)
  • Manual fan control (BIOS or 3rd-party apps) – though use caution here
  • Using Game Optimizer inside OMEN Gaming Hub
