Omen
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought a second hand Omen laptop to replace my aging Pavillion. It's about a year and half old, I7 7700 series. I've been having issues with it randomly shutting down when I move it and after doing some reading I discovered that it's a known issue and HP was fixing it. My problem is that I am not the original owner and although it's not that old, I doubt there is any warranty left. If this is a known issue will HP still repair it or am I SOL?

I'm just getting the run around at that site and there seems to be no way to contact a real person. All I get is that my warranty has expired and a link to authorized HP service centers. If it's a recall and known issue, it shouldn't matter if my warranty has expired but I can't tell that to an automated chat service.
