hi so i recently peformed a windows update on my laptop and i dont know exactly what updated but it seemed to be my bios right after the update though whenever i start any games i get major screen tearing in almost any game i play i have already attempted to reinstall my nividia drivers and force V-sync but it does not appear to have any affect and i still get screen tearing. please if anyone has any suggestions to fix this issue that is not reseting my laptop ill gladly hear you out. i am trying my best to not restting everything and reinstalling apps

Let me check your current system configuration before we take a look at the Screen Tearing ...

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> Copy/paste following key/value pairs:

 

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU ( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

 

(2) Start Windows <device manager>

- Expand <Display adapters>

- Expand <Monitors>

- Expand <Network adapters>

- Expand <Sound, video and game controllers>

--->>> Send screenshot
