I'm planning to upgrade my storage and I'm thinking about buying Orico O7000. Will it fit with the heatsink on my HP Victus 15 FB3723AX?

 

If it doesn't, is it okay to apply the heatsink tape-like thing without the heatsink jacket?

Go ahead and buy the Orico O7000. It's a good drive. Plan to install it in your HP Viictus using only the thermal pad, creating a direct thermal connection to your laptop's bottom case. This is the standard, effective, and safe way to install a high-performance SSD in a laptop.
