omen laptop 17-an105nv
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i bought the product from a Greek shop 7 months ago. out of the box it was idling at 50-60 celcius on the cpu , same on the gpu. just playing a game of league of legends the cpu went to 91 celcius and the gpu 75.

when tried to play shadow of the tomb raider cpu went to 99-101 and gpu 90.

also had problems with the wifi card losing connection (couldnt find ANY wifi , then it showed up with an exclamation mark saying i dont have a wireless controller)

gave it to the greek support, they told me its nothing everything was about the drivers (altho i had it updated). after a couple of days i had to move to the UK.

First thing i noticed is the wifi acted the exact same and the temperatures were sky high. so high that my fingers were "burning" when touching wasd.

since i never had an hp product before i didnt know (and didnt have enough time to go online searching) that i could get help anywhere i am...

some months later my contract for both my house and my job is finished and im back home (Greece).

Took the laptop to the shop (that is working/co-operating with hp in Greece) told them all about it and they said they are gonna send it to service.

Today i got it back. they told me they had to change panels (yeah forgot to mention the panel was f'ed up. terrible backlight bleed and 10+ dead pixels). cleaned it from dust , removed and reapplied the paste on the cpu and it's working like a charm.

first thing i noticed when i turned it on... like 10 mins later idle (browsing with chrome) cpu temp 55-60(at 1-9%) , gpu temp 55(at 1%)

room temperature is 25-27 celcius.

im on my wits end.

*edit

just tried some counterstrike global offensive

82 celsius gpu 95 celsius cpu
