Overheating, touchpad and usb issues... Need to get in touch with someone from HP.

Hello i have a problem with my Omen laptop, overheating issues my touchpad is registering clicks on it's own and my usb port on the left side is not working properly.

• Was there a recent power outage or surge?
• Did a software Windows update cause this?

It looks hardware related. Let's diagnose it correctly:

• Please perform complete hardware diagnostics from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/omen-by-hp-17-w200-laptop-pc/13823501/model/15003049/document/c... (HP PCs - Testing for Hardware Failures)
• Follow instructions from the section "Run the Extensive Test (2 hours or more)"
• If diagnostics fail, make a note of the failure code for the failed component.
• The computer needs to be repaired.

If diagnostics pass then try these steps:

• Run all the latest Windows updates and ensure that they are installed correctly.
• Run HP support assistant and ensure to run all the latest updates from the HP driver page.
• Ensure to update the bios, chipset, touchpad and graphics drivers without fail.
• This should work for you.
