Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, today I was using my computer and it suddenly shutdown and I haven't been able to power it on. When I connect the power adapter the LED indicator doesn't power up, but I've connected it to another computer and it worked. The computer doesn't make any sound or doesn't turn any light on. Please help

@aech23 , welcome to the forum.

 

This is a very difficult problem to diagnose because the laptop won't turn on.  It is most likely a failed component.  However, it will be difficult to know which one.  Here is an automated guide to help you diagnose the problem:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics?category=computing&issue=power-boot-issues

 

If this doesn't help, you may want to locate a HP Service Center or a local reputable computer shop that works on HP laptops.
