Pavilion Gaming 15 ec0105ax
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey everyone, i dont even know if ill get a reply to this, but is upgrading ram on my pavilion gaming 15 allowed, without voiding warranty? because to my knowlege, there is a spare ram slot, and it supports up to 16gb of ram and 32gb if you use hp branded ram? If i get any help with this, that would be great!

Thanks!

Hi:

Since this is a peer to peer forum, we are not authorized to reply on behalf of HP regarding the warranty terms.

It is generally understood by us, that the warranty would not be voided unless you break something in the process of upgrading the PC.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the memory removal and replacement procedure.

It indicates that the memory removal and replacement procedure can be performed by the customer.
