-Is Samsung 980 pro ssd compatible with my device?
-Does it support PCie 4.0?
-if not compatible, which ssd would you recommend?
-PCie .... 3.0 or 2.0? It has a 1TB hdd 8GB ram 4GB 1050 ti model with 16GB optane memory.

For your 15-cx0026nt machine.
A1. Yes, it is backward compatible.
A2. No, it supports PCIe 3x4.
A3. As A1, you can use lower specs such as Samsung 970 (cheaper I think),
A4. As A2 above.
