You can try the following steps to remove the OMEN Gaming Hub pop-up:
Method 1: Close the App via Task Manager
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Find OMEN Gaming Hub in the list of running apps.
- Right-click it and select End Task.
If the pop-up disappears but returns after a restart, try disabling it from startup.
Method 2: Disable OMEN Gaming Hub at Startup
- Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc).
- Go to the Startup tab.
- Look for OMEN Gaming Hub.
- Right-click it and select Disable.
- Restart your PC.
Method 3: Reinstall OMEN Gaming Hub
If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app:
- Press Win + R, type appwiz.cpl, and press Enter.
- Find OMEN Gaming Hub, right-click it, and select Uninstall.
- Restart your PC.
- Download the latest version from the Microsoft Store or HP’s website.
- Install it and check if the pop-up issue is resolved.
Method 4: Disable OMEN Gaming Hub Overlay (If Applicable)
If this is an overlay issue:
- Open OMEN Gaming Hub.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Look for any overlay settings and disable them.
Method 5: Check for Background Services
- Press Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.
- Go to the Services tab.
- Check Hide all Microsoft services.
- Look for any OMEN Gaming Hub services and uncheck them.
- Click Apply and OK, then restart your PC.
