Microsoft Windows 11

Hello. I have a problem with my CPU's performance after updating bios version f37. During higher load, its clocking and power consumption decrease, even though the temperatures do not exceed 80 or 70 degrees. I had the same problem with the f31 bios before. I did not see the problem on the f20 version. It is annoying that the CPU is not able to run at full capacity.

Hello @faillerek

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

F.37 Rev.A

- Provides improved security.

- Provides improved system stability.

Due to numerous overheating problems reported by customers, even with new devices, HP might have reduced the power "a bit" to protect the hardware. First, contact HP support and then discuss the "issue" with an HP technician.

Good luck
