These printers are trash, sometimes they work most of the time they don’t, I tried going to customer service but it was one of the worst I have ever dealt with, unless they can replace the HP Envy printer with one that works correctly I’ll never buy another HP product again.

Hi @Nateispissed,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your HP Envy printer. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check the connections: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If you're using a USB connection, try using a different USB port or cable. If you're using a network connection, make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
- Restart your devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off both your computer and the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn them back on.
- Update printer drivers: Outdated or incompatible printer drivers can cause communication problems. Visit the official HP website, enter your printer model, and download the latest drivers for your operating system. Install the drivers and restart your computer.
- Check printer status: On your computer, open the Control Panel (Windows) or System Preferences (Mac) and navigate to the "Printers" or "Printers & Scanners" section. Check if your HP Envy printer is listed and set as the default printer. If it's not listed, click on "Add Printer" or the plus icon (+) to add it manually.
- Disable firewall or antivirus: In some cases, security software or firewalls can block the communication between your computer and printer. Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus program and check if the printer is detected. If it works, you may need to adjust the settings of your security software to allow printer communication.
- Reset the printer: Refer to the user manual or HP's support website to find instructions on resetting your specific HP Envy printer model. Resetting the printer can often resolve various issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
