Hello my problem is that while I'm playing they start to sound "sparks" in the audio and with this drops of frames that go down to 6 fps I have no idea how it can be solved, and the only way to solve it is to restart the game, but in 20 minutes it happens again, thanks for paying attention

@Alvargames, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Do you have the same issue while watching a video?
  • Does it happen in a particular game? Have you checked with other games?

For now, let us try these steps:

Check for any pending windows updates.

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Restart the PC and check for the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hi, Kuma0307, this problem does not occur in videos, it only appears in some games like Dead by Daylight, Rust and hardly ever in CS GO, the first two uses the anty-cheat called "easy antycheat"  (but not with others with this antycheat)

i have tried to update my computer, but that is not the problem

I have searched information and it is possible that the drivers or the sound card (that are from realtek) make this problems

  • Update the graphics driver.

Go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, enter your PC model, then select the driver for your graphics card.

  • Most games allow you to change the graphics settings. Using a lower graphic quality often improves FPS.

  • Close any applications or programs that are not being used.

  • Turn on Game Mode. Game Mode is a new feature in Windows 10 Creators Update that improves gaming performance by limiting background processes and programs from using system resources while a game is running.

    1. Press the Windows key and G to open the Game bar.

    2. In the game bar, click Settings.

    3. Click the checkbox next to the game title to enable Game Mode for that game.

Plug notebook PCs into an AC adapter to give the graphics card more power.

Let me know how it goes.

Kumar, these have been my results:

I have updated the graphic driver

I have every graphic setting in 0 to improve fps to 60

I have played without any other applications

I have played with the AC adappter connected

And I don´t know how to get into the checkbox (i do not understand a lot the english, I am from Spain and i could not find the setting and the languaje change)

With all these settings, the videogames keep laguing
