HP ENVY - 17m-ce1013dx

Hello

After several years of Windows 11 working correctly (free upgrade program), on November 15, the update turned off the sound on my laptop. Therefore, I decided to go back to Windows 10 using the Cloud Recovery tool. The tool prepared the disk, started and after an hour of restarts and installation of subsequent components, it threw an error: "startnet Error. Can't find boot disc". Pressing OK causes a restart and the same message and so on and so forth.

The cloud recovery should have worked.  The USA version of the product ID,  7PS43UA#ABA was recognized by HP.

but the Polish country code #AKD was not recognized as I was given the 0015 error when I tried it.

If the install went OK but you got errors booting, possibly there is a hardware problem.

Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.

If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty

HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically.
When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics.
There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here
Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS',
Expand the '+' symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button.
The version of the UEFI diagnostics is shown at the left of that DOWNLOAD button.
When you press F2 to run diagnostics please ensure the version is the new one.

You can find your HP drivers here

There is a recent bios update but is seems there is nothing to "fix" and warns that once install it cannot be uninstalled.  I would not install f.16 or F.17 on account of that inability to go back.

If there are no UEFI errors, then go into the BIOS and press F9 or whatever key is used to set factory defaults.  Then ensure that secure boot is enabled..  Check the date and time and then press F10 to save and exit.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I updated the BIOS before the recovery because I thought it would help with the lack of sound. But. This error message is displayed AFTER the system is started. This is an operating system window, not a BIOS message. From what I can guess, the recovery process goes through many restarts and after each restart it installs another portion of the software. It's just that one of these stages, near the end, failed. No access to the log, no way to exit the recovery procedure and I get a restart after each error confirmation. Thanks again for taking a closer look at my problem.
