Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2003np

Hello,

I'm interested in purchasing a new laptop, and came upon the Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2003np as a possibility. However I cannot for the life of me figure out if the RAM on this model is expandable to 32gb or not, as there seems to be no documentation. Can anyone help me figure this out, please?

Thanks!

Hi:

The older models supported 32 GB of memory, so I would have no reason to believe that yours wouldn't either.

While I'm inclined to agree the fact is most stores I've checked (including my local amazon) say it only goes up to 16GB. There lies my confusion, it makes little sense to me that newer models would support less ram, but I'd like to be sure before making the purchase.

I am inclined to believe that no one here would be able to give you a 100% guarantee that 32 GB of memory would work.

We don't work for or represent HP, and unless someone on this forum upgraded that model to 32 GB, that would be the only way to be sure.

The Crucial memory report does not show the max memory for the three 15ec-2000 models they have listed, but do show 32 GB memory upgrade kits.
