According to the service manual, you have two slots for memory and 16gb is maximum

The 8gb memory to use is HP according to the BOM

932817-R72SoDIMM, 8GB, DDR4-2666, Ramaxel, Nanya A

https://www.google.com/search?q=932817-R72+hp

The manual says the memory is not user accessible.  That just means it is difficult and take special tools and probably voids the warranty if not done by approved tech support.  There are videos on youtube for disassembly.
