Hi, 

I am wondering if some one could help. I have the HP Pavilion - 15-ec1006na. I would like to know if i am able to upgrade the RAM on this laptop. Would be looking to upgrade to 16GB if possible.

 

My other query would be, if I did upgrade the RAM would this affect my warranty and care pack? This is valid until 2024 but I wouldn't want this to be invalidated if I was to upgrade.

1. RAM: You can upgrade to 32GB max using compatible RAM

2. WARRANTY: Warranty is a grey/gray area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something or fixing something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.
