Bought a g.skil F4-2400C16S-8GRS, placed into the open slot and it is not being recognized. Currently have a ddr4 2667 in there from Kingston which is being recognized as the only stick of ram inside. Any advice on how to fix this or is it nfixable and the problem is the type of stick it is?

Resolved: Watched a video where it said the problem could be that that slot had to be broken in so the advice was to put the ram stick in and out until it felt like it fit just right and that worked, after a couple of times it fit completly in not feeling weird like the other times, and is now up and running as inteded.

Update, the stick is compatible, switched slots then checked bios and saw that it was now only recognizing the new one I bought. The problem is that slot 1 does not work, but slot two does.
