Chapter 5 indicates that replacing the memory is a customer-authorized procedure.

 

Bear in mind that if you break something in the process up upgrading the memory, I doubt the warranty would be honored.

HP. There is a brand laptop, does it make it out of warranty to upgrade the ssd and ram? Is there a solution without warranty?

This is a peer to peer forum.  No one from HP is going to reply to your question.

 

I answered your question the other day.

 

The service manual indicates that upgrading the memory or adding a SSD should not void the warranty as it is a customer-authorized procedure.

 

However, if you break anything during the course of upgrading the warranty, I would not expect the warranty to cover any damage.
