Adding a SSD to Omen 17t ?

I already have a 256GB LiteOn SSD and will be swapping with a Samsung 960 EVO.  Same system, Omen 17T, but with model AN-100.

I already have a 256GB SSD and want to swap it with a 1TB Samsung 960 EVO 1TB SSD.

Being blind, I am limited to how I am able to run any kind of installer, so  my idea was to use the Talking Windows Preinstallation Environment USB but I've never done a recovery.  I want to do a recovery of my current drive, which honestly doesn't have but the base software on it   Windows, HP stuff, and drivers.

So my question is, when doing the drive swap,  will I be alright with installing a fresh install of Windows?  Where's my product key?  I know it's W10 Home.

Or will I have to figure out some ridiculous way to do a recovery.  Only way I can think of is to do a fresh install so I can create a recovery partition on the new SSD, then use windows to boot to the  repair tool, then use that to get into recovery.  Being blind, I have to do things differently.  

In all honesty, do I have to do a recovery since its all just base software, or could I  just do a clean install and go download products and drivers?    Thanks for your help.

I do not know anything about the Talking Windows Preinstallation Environment.

But I do know that you can absolutely install Windows onto the new drive without knowing the product activation key.

The key is embedded in the bios and also registered with Microsoft to that motherboard.

It will probably be easiest to simply clean install with the Microsoft ISO, then install what ever HP software you wish from the drivers page on the HP website.

If the installation asks for the key, simply skip that step and let it continue installing. When Windows connects to the internet, it will activate when it hunts for updates.
