Hi - I have the same problem. I've tried the head set on 2 different computers and it's not detected on either one. I've tried ALL options/suggestions to fix the problem, to no avail. I've searched the web for a solution, but nothing I have tried has worked.
I think it's one of two possibilities - the cable connecting the head set is faulty, or the head set itself is faulty.
