Hi - The issue has just happened to me on windows update and the suggested fix does not work.

 

1. I've uninstalled the old Command Centre.

2. I've tried to install the replacement based on selecting the latest version for my Omen 17 laptop. This attempts to install through the HP Download assistant.

3. On install, a Windows warning box appears saying "Reboot will occur in less than 1 minute". The machine reboots but the command centre is not installed.

 

Re-install looks broken and the Command centre is not available. Can you please assist.

Could you tell me what model of Omen you have?

If you open the HP Support Assistant, it should give you the Product number.

 

When you say it wouldn't work after a windows update, in what way?

Did it not open, or something else?
