I am having the same issue, I have done all the aforementioned trouble shooting. I even bought a fan to go under my laptop to give better air flow this all started on 8/4/2020 when I updated to Bios F.08 when i boot into F2 for the bios and try to restore to a previous version there is nothing to restore to please help me the only upgrade i have put in this computer are two 8gb sticks of corsair ram to which i have put ram into a multitude of computers and that ram has been in the computer months so i know that is not the issue. I have used the extensive scan you mentioned as well no errors were found. This is ridiculous we need some support for this issue im not going to let my hardware burn up due to faulty bios updates.

Same is happening with me and other people bro its ihe bios update issue this new bios has done smthing whenever i play apex legends this happens and mid game my pc goes in hibernation
