Hi @adu200,

Welcome to HP Support Community!

We noticed that this thread hasn't had any updates in a while since your original post; while this is rare, we didn't want this post to remain unanswered, so, here's the solution to your query. We hope it helps you and everyone viewing this post 😊

The OMEN Gaming Hub includes various features for enhancing gaming experiences, one of which is Light Studio. However, not all HP gaming laptops might be compatible with every feature in the OMEN Gaming Hub, including Light Studio, especially if the laptop model doesn't have the necessary hardware for customizable RGB lighting.

If your HP Victus laptop is indicating incompatibility with the OMEN Light Studio, here’s what you can consider:

  1. Check Laptop Specifications:

    • Confirm whether your Victus model has RGB lighting capabilities. Some models may not have the hardware needed for Light Studio features.
  2. Feature Availability:

    • Light Studio functionality is often developed for OMEN series laptops and desktops that come with customizable RGB lighting. The Victus series might lack this hardware, making them incompatible.
  3. Updates:

    • Ensure your OMEN Gaming Hub is up-to-date. Sometimes updates can bring enhancements even in performance settings, though this might not change hardware limitations.
  4. Alternative Customization:

    • If your laptop lacks RGB hardware but you wish to personalize it, look into external RGB peripherals compatible with your system, which can be customized using independent software solutions.
