Really low FPS can’t fix

I used to never have problems playing almost any games on my laptop but recently I can’t even play anything without having supper low FPS I’ve tried many ways to fix this but nothing has worked so far if anyone can maybe tell me something I can try I would appreciate it I even reset my whole pc today thinking it would fix it but I found out it was just a waist of time

How will any of us know what to tell you to do next, if you didn't tell us what you've done already?

What game and what FPS is it getting on what settings?

Also, is this occurring when playing on battery only, or plugged in?
