OMEN Laptop - 15-en0013ax

So I have an HP omen laptop that up until recently have been using LAN as the main method for connection. But due to me living abroad I am now forced to use wifi connection. In the lodging I'm currently staying it there are two wifi networks available: one is 2.4ghz and the other is the 5ghz one. And for some reason my laptop is unable to detect the 5ghz one and can only detect the 2.4ghz one. I have tried updating the wifi adapter "Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter" through windows and through the "let me pick from the a list of available drivers on my computer" and both did not fix the problem.

I've also tried going following this article by going to the device manager, wireless adapter, properties, advanced tab, and tried to search for the 802.11n mode to enable it but was unable to find it. only saw the 802.11d. However, within the property, 802.11n channel width for 2.4ghz and 5.2hgz was set on auto. Is there a possible fix perhaps an outdated driver that can fix the issue of not being able to detect the 5g network?

Thanks

I have updated both the Wifi and Bluetooth drivers. However, it was still unable to detect the 5g network. All my friends and my other devices are able to connect to it fine. Is there another solution that I could attempt?

Hi:

Please see this discussion.  You may need to change some settings on your router.

If that doesn't work either, unfortunately I don't know what the problem could be.
