Realtek conflict with Ryzen

When I play graphic heavy games they stutter and I only get 2 or 3 frames per second. I can uninstall the realtek sound driver and the laptop performs the way that it should, only without the sound. I have already installed the latest update from the support site. I have reset and hard reset and looked everywhere for a way to fix it but no luck. My question is:

Is there a way to fix this? I haven't modified this laptop in any way.

Windows 10 Home

AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile

Realtek 6.0.8749.1

Worth noting: The updated driver says it is installed but the date in the driver properties is still 9/9/19 when the updated version was released 11/19.
