Omen laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • so we recently had a house fire and in the gist the laptop had bit of water damage and I plugged it in and it gave no sign of power. At the time it was unplugged and I had the battery replacement come in and I tried it. The light continues to blink orange and it has the same part number and everything. And without the battery the light blinks white like it has a full charge. I have no idea what to do

@Falling1,

If the steps I shared didn't do the trick, it would confirm a hardware malfunction and you may want to contact support to have the device repaired.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Cheers!
