I have hp omen laptop wf0057tx, since few weeks i have had problem with it and now it doesn't work . I had a 280w 3x4.5mm pin charger. I tried to find charger byt could only find a 230w charger.
Where can i find a 280w charger in india
Will a 230w completely support my laptop or should i try to find a larger charger like 300w or 330w
Why does hp not have spare chargers in market when someone wants them

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
For your OMEN by HP 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wf0057TX (834U1PA), the correct replacement charger is:
HP Part Number: M95376-001 (AC Adapter 280W, Smart, 3-pin, 4.5mm barrel). Here is an example purchase link via Amazon India: HP 280W Smart AC Adapter.
About charger wattage:
230-watt adapter → The laptop may run, but under gaming or heavy load, it can throttle performance or slowly discharge the battery because the adapter cannot keep up. Not recommended for long-term use.
280-watt adapter → This is the correct match. It provides the exact power your OMEN is designed for.
300-watt or 330watt adapter → Higher-wattage HP Smart Adapters with the same connector will also work (the laptop only draws what it needs). Just make sure the plug is 4.5mm barrel, not USB-C or 7.4mm.
Why it’s hard to find HP chargers:
HP often restricts sales of high-wattage gaming adapters to authorized resellers or service centers. That’s why they aren’t always easy to find in local retail shops. Buying from Amazon India or an HP parts partner is the best option.
In short: Get the 280-watt M95376-001, but if you only find a 300-watt or 330-watt HP 4.5mm adapter, that’s perfectly fine too. Avoid the 230-watt one unless it’s a temporary emergency backup.
Kind Regards,
