OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc1xxx

My left fan is working properly while the right fan barely works. I can feel the difference by keeping my hand near the vent which is also confirmed when i use the software 'speedfan'. This is causing the temperature to increase beyond safe limits (90-95 Degree celsius).

I have the latest BIOS. I opened the BIOS and checked that fan is always enabled. I performed a system CPU stress test and the fast stress test, both of which were successful. I even reset my laptop completely, removing all the apps and restoring to default settings but to no use. My laptop is just 4 months old and under warranty. I'd be glad if someone could help me out. Thanks!

Heat sensors control fans on your machine. When one area gets hot the sensor for that area kicks in and forces its fan run faster.

As you know, CPU, GPU even RAM are very close together and they generate heat that why the fan of that area runs faster.

Regards.

Hey, thanks for the quick response.

I know what you're talking about but recently, one of my fans (the right one) is barely working which is causing the temperature to reach higher than the safety limit.

When I purchased the laptop, both the fans touched 3500 rpm while gaming but now only one of them is functioning as its supposed to.
