While running games like NFS MW12 or NFS Rivals. After a few minutes of gameplay, system heat excessively which thereby leads to slow motion of the game with weird sounds of the game. This also happens sometimes while running Adobe Photoshop, along with any other program at the background(or multiple programs). Please help....

But having using Photoshop CS6 and Illustarator makes it slow is it due to Lack of RAM or excess usage through Graphic Card?
Should I get more RAM for my device? I need to work on both for designing.
Also Wi-Fi connectivity is very weak signals get lost very easily and reconnect again and again, I can't even create a hotspot due to some error that Wifi Hotspot softwares do no recognise the device.
And Updating it to 8.1 has cause some errors, like the Airplane Mode button is no more working.
Please help....

Notebooks are not my particular area of expertise in that most of the components are usually not upgradable. Such appears to be the case with your system.
Reference: Specification Sheet
As you have probably found in the Serivce User Guide, you can upgrade the Memory to 8GB.
I believe you cannot do anything about the CPU proccessor (it is part of the system board), nor do I believe you can do anything about the graphics ; both of these components come in toward the bottom of the performance rankings. This does not mean the products are "bad"; it means the CPU and graphics may not be up to the tasks for which you are trying to use them.
Microprocessor: 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-4200U
Video Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M (2 GB DDR3 dedicated)
===========================================================================
I do not use the precise Photo Editing software you describe. I did, at one time, use a similar Photo Editing software on a system having only 8GB of RAM and a similar Graphics restriction.
You might be able to pull some better performance from the system if you dedicate all the available resources that you do have to the programs you need and get rid of the "fancy bits" that you do not need.
In particular, some of the Metro (Start) Screen apps can be shut off and you can eliminate some of the other performance hogs in your Desktop to allow the system to make better use of the memory and graphics.
Ideas:
Control Visual Setup
Control Panel > set icon View > System > Advanced System Settings >
In System Properties > Advanced > Settings
In Performance Options Menu > tab Advanced >
Under Performance > Settings >
tab Visual Effects > CHECK / Click Adjust for best performance **
Click OK
** If you wish, instead, Select the Custom setting. You may want to UNCHECK selections that contain animations, shadows (who needs mouse shadows?), and fades.
- For the Background on your Desktop > use a plain, dull, boring background.
- If you have a "bunch" of icons on your Desktop, consider sticking these into folders in your account and then making use of the ability of the Taskbar to make available these icons / tools in the form of Toolbars. If you don't need it, get it off your Desktop screen and into a Toolbar. This is less important if you are not using the Desktop or if you do not change the view on that Desktop.

Control the Metro / Start Screen
If you have Active Tiles on your Start Screen that you are not actually using, or Tiles on which you are not actually dependent on the constant Update of the information within the Tile -- then you can switch OFF that Tile. Active Tiles use Resources that you can ill afford to lose. If you are not using it, switch it OFF.
Find the Tile > Right-Click > Switch it off

Old Fashioned Maintenance
- Keep the system clean and tidy.
- Do not use HP Support Assistant to update your BIOS - set HPSA to Notify and ignore any BIOS updates.
- Set Windows Update to Notify -- always, always manually apply a Restore Point before you install Updates or make any changes to your computer.
- Keep your system backed up - always
- Add an extra Admin account -- before you start making major changes to your system
- Stick a notebook cooler under your notebook - a hot notebook is not a happy notebook
Create a Restore Point:
Restore Point XP OR Create a Restore Point – Win7 OR Create a restore point Win8

I got your point, thank you. I was keeping the PC clean since long, also disabled almost all the startup apps along with autostart apps. Visuals were at least, already.
Thing is that having told this laptop in Gaming category, is just amusing not performing with applications consuming memory.
Just got disappointed expecting a 14 inch Notebook to perform best with nvidea 740M and putting Rs. 65000 at this.. I guess we need to gamble buying laptops now.
Thanks..
Sorry to bother u sir....

It is never a bother -- thank you for writing and asking the question.
The notebook is indeed a nice notebook -- you are asking it to do a bit more than it can do really well, is all.
Notebooks cost a bunch of money, they are like sports cars -- not everyone buys a Ferrari. Smiling.
People will tell us anything -- it is wisdom that we learn to not listen to all we hear.
Top out the RAM, shut down the other programs, stick a cooler under the vents (I run a cooler under all my notebooks that need one), and understand that the notebook is not the Ferrari. You can also look at some other performance tricks. Check at your gaming site(s).
Check at your Photo Editing Site -- there may be something there, too.
I may have missed something important -- do not to rely only on what I say: Remember Wisdom. Smiling.
Perhaps Next year, you can look at the Omen. Smiling.
