On my son's Omen laptop we would like to run 3 external monitors.  We're able to run dual monitors just fine using the mini Displayport and HDMI connections.  We tried using a mini Displayport hub which works just fine on my Microsoft Surface, but it would not work with the HP Omen- usually monitor is not detected, sometimes one can be detected but just displays a blank screen.  We also tried using a USB-C to Displayport cable, but the monitor was also not detected even though the specifications page says the USB-C port supports Displayport 1.2.

 

Has anyone been able to get this Omen to run with 3 external monitors?  If so, how?  If we could get the USB-C port to identify the monitor or get the Displayport hub to work with the Omen we'd be good.

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products:
