HP ENVY Notebook - 17-n001tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Product Name: HP ENVY Notebook - 17-n001tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I want to install SSD in my ENVY Notebook. I could not find any information about compatibility (max capacity, speeds etc).  I would like to buy Samsung SSD 960 PRO NVMe M.2 512GB but i don't know if it will work properly.

SSD link:  https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-960-pro-m-2-512gb-mz-v6p5...

Does anyone have any information about  SSD compatibility in this model or know if SSD that I mentioned will work?

and if it won't can someone suggest the best SSD  to upgrade with for speed.

Hello @Apoorv_Tiwari

Yes you certainly can add an M.2 SSD Sata III drive. Not NVMe.

This Samsung would work nicely...
