Hello,

I've got problem with my Omen 15-ce008nw. I bought brand new gaming laptop, but without any SSD disk. There is problem with high disk usage. I'd like to upgrade my pc to ssd disk, without loosing old HDD. I heard, that there is M2 slot in this device, so can you tell me if the ADATA XPG SX8200 will fit to this computer? I'd like only to have system and important programs (not really big) on this SSD. Thanks for help, and have a nice day 🙂

You Omen will take NVMe M.2 SSDs so the Adata you pointed to would be fine.

page 33 for the SSD mounting.

 

Clean install Windows to the ssd with the HDD disconnected, then test the ssd that windows is working properly.

Be sure you have any data you want saved backed up to an external drive from the HDD, then wipe it and use it for storage, ect.
