Product: HP OMEN — 15-ce061ur
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HI,

 

I want to set up an SSD hard drive on my HP OMEN — 15-ce061ur, it has an M2 connector on the motherboard.

But I do not know what type of M2 interface it supports SATA or PCIe and what version of an interface I should use.

Please help to find this information.

Hi:

 

The M.2 interface your notebook has is NVMe.

 

Here is the Crucial memory report for your model.

If you click on the View More link you will see the NVMe drives they offer.

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Chapter 1 shows that NVMe SSD's are supported.
