Can I add an SSD to my Hp Pavilion 15 cc561st, if it has a dedicated slot on it, like M.2. Slot to add extra SSD without removing my old HDD? To use both at the same time.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/c05563322
The series has dual storage options with M.2 SATA SSD + 2.5" HDD. Your machine has 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA now, you can add M.2 SATA SSD such as
https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-mx500-ssd
https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/ssd-870-qvo-sata-3-2-5-inch-1tb-mz-77q1t0bw/
Or similar from reputable vendors.

Ow thank you very much sir.
And if I add 128Gb ssd to it, how fast would that make my computer, especially while running huge softwares like Matlab and ANSYS.?
I mean, is it worth it to try, considering the cash I am going to spend while buying the new SSD?
