I recently installed an SSD and cloned my old drive onto that SSD. Then I went to bios boot priority and tried to make my laptop boot with the SSD but the SSD didn't show up as an option in the boot priority. To make sure my operating system was cloned correctly I removed my HDD so my laptop was forced to boot with the SSD and then it worked fine. The new SSD even showed up in the boot priority in bios when my HDD was removed but when I reinstalled the HDD to format it the SSD disapeared again from the boot priority. I figured out that I could manually make the laptop boot with the SSD by going to the recovery options and select "usb device" and then the "boot with solid state disk" option but it's a real pain to do that everytime i turn the laptop on. I would be really gratefull if you guys knew a solution.

Hello @Unkindled1
If you can manually boot back into the SSD again, you can simply use the Command Prompt to wipe the HDD via Diskpart.
Here is a link to a website giving the instructions.

If you need further help though, let me know.
