HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey guys,

I've bumped my laptop by accident and I now can't see anything on screen. I get three slow blinks and 2 blinks fast on the caps lock key. I can hear the fans going, and the LED light on the power button is working.

I've tried plugging into an external monitor and pressing the F4 key as well as the FN+F4 function to see if I can force it to change screens and nothing is happening unless I'm not doing that correctly.

I've also tried the classic switching it off and on again as well as leaving it run for a moment but nothing appears to be happening. Due to the above what sort of issues could this be? And what can I do to ensure I can get it back up and running?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand your HP notebook is not working correctly. If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Notebook PCs - Computer Does Not Start: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01997899 , No Power or no Boot and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your computer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

And, also refer to the article: HP Notebook PCs - Computer Does Not Start and Emits an LED or Beep Code
