OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0000 (343L4AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello

Starting recently, I've been having issues with my new HP OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-c0702nz equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and two graphic adapters (integrated AMD Radeon Graphics and discrete AMD Radeon RX 6600M).

While unplugged and on battery power display brightness starts flickering heavily or turning off/on display randomly. As soon as main power is plugged on this flickering stops. I have recorded video and can submit if necessary for troubleshooting.

I have updated the drivers manually from HP support page but the problem persists. I have been searching for solution in other posts at HP Support Community without luck.

I would kindly ask help with this issue.

Hello,

Thank you very much for assistance. Here are requested information regarding system configuration:

OS Name: Microsoft Windows 11 Home

Version: 10.0.22000 Build 22000

System Model: OMEN by HP Laptop 16-c0xxx

System SKU: 493T8EA#UUZ

BIOS Version/Date: AMI F.16, 9.5.2022.

I have been trying to find any additional info that could help in troubleshooting. Yesterday I have noticed that if used function key FN+F2 (decrease brightness) it immediately turn off screen. Like it has only two states (0 and 1). There is no way to decrease level of brightness.

I hope that it was clear from my previous post that problems started recently (approx. 10 days ago) and I have laptop for four months. It worked perfectly well for months.

Thank you once again for assistance.

I have downloaded suggested file and run installation. However, already installed version was 1.8.2.0 and this older version was unable to override it. I have made tests with newer version (as seen at pictures). I presume it is same, whichever version used, since you did not stress importance of version to use.

Here are pictures from today's tests, that all PASSED OK.

NOTE: Wired Test designated as failed since no wired connection present. No test performed.

Please note that I have conducted extensive video component test on 09/04/22 in the midst of screen flickering and all tests passed OK. I have video recorded to support this if needed for troubleshooting (below screenshot).
