Hi @Zain46 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing a display issue with your HP Omen 17t-an100 laptop. The fact that the problem resolves temporarily when you put the laptop to sleep and then wake it up suggests that it might be related to the graphics drivers or the display itself.

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  • Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can often cause display issues. Try updating your graphics drivers to the latest version available from HP's website or directly from the manufacturer's website (NVIDIA or AMD, depending on your graphics card).
  • Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, Windows updates include fixes for display-related issues. Make sure your operating system is up-to-date by checking for and installing any available updates.
  • Check Display Settings: Verify that your display settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, incorrect display settings can lead to graphical glitches. You can adjust these settings by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Display settings" (Windows) or by going to System Preferences > Displays (macOS).
  • Run Hardware Diagnostics: Most HP laptops have built-in hardware diagnostic tools that can help identify any hardware issues. You can usually access these tools by pressing a specific key combination during startup (often F2 or F10). Run a comprehensive hardware diagnostic to check if there are any issues with the display hardware.
  • Check for Overheating: Overheating can sometimes cause graphical glitches. Make sure your laptop is adequately ventilated and that the vents are not blocked. You can also use software tools to monitor the temperature of your components and see if they are reaching excessively high levels.
  • Reset BIOS/UEFI Settings: Resetting the BIOS or UEFI settings to their default values can sometimes resolve hardware-related issues. You can usually access the BIOS or UEFI settings by pressing a specific key (often Del or F2) during startup. Look for an option to reset to default settings within the BIOS/UEFI menu.
