Will my HP Omen Laptop work with A/C Adapter plugin without the battery installed?  My second question, will my laptop reset if I replace the battery? 

The reason why I asked, my laptop battery is not working in a correct way. It needs to be replace. So while I wait for the replacement, I wanted to know will  my HP  Omen Laptop work without the Battery and only with  A/C  adapter plug..

Yes it is safe to run the laptop without the battery installed.

It also uses an RTC coin battery, so it does not rely on the main battery to maintain the bios.

Edited to explain the above statement. Because it uses a coin battery means the bios will not reset.

Apparently that wasnt clear to some.

You can use your notebook without battery, the ONLY down side is when suddenly no power, HDD may crash and/or some files may be corrupted.

No,  you simply turn it off and replace battery.
