In mid august 2025, I had my hp's screen replaced due to the originial screen blacking out and only being visible after slightly bending the screen in half. After replacement I kept noticing visual artifacts but thought they were normal as I dont have much knowledge of these devices. But just today my grandson was using my PC and found out that the screen I had was a 6 bit depth one instead of the 8 bit depth one my original screen had.
My System Model is HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 16-a0xxx.
I dont know my original panel's device instant id but this is the data that i extracted using HWINFO64 for the current one:
DeviceInstanceId:- DISPLAY\BOE09B7\4&307D6D6F&0&UID265988

What can I do in this case?
Ive paid 9000 rupees (around $100) for this screen replacement and I got the cheap model instead of the original factory model.

Is there a way to lodge a complaint?
