I have a HP Pavilion 15-cc610ms laptop with Serial number [Personal Information Removed].
I recently bought a crucial P2 500Gb 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD to add it as a secondary hard drive to my stock 1TB HDD. I installed in my laptop but nothing happened. Looks like my laptop didn’t recognize it. I tried to clear the bios to make it see it but it didn’t work.
later on, I was reading through the HP Maintenance guide and I noticed it said it supports 1 TB HDD with a 256GB SATA 3 SSD as a dual hard drive configuration.
My laptop has an NVMe slot (one pin cutout) not sata 3 slot (pins cutout on both sides).
With that being said, which SSD type (sata, nvme) and size (500,256,128) fits my computer ?
I provided my SN and computer type to confirm this for me please so that I don’t waste more money buying stuff that doesn’t fit my specifications.
your cooperation is very much appreciated.

Hi:
Your notebook's M.2 slot only supports SATA SSD's not NVMe.

All the M.2 slots in every HP notebook and desktop PC that I know of have M.2 slots that 'look' like they support NVMe SSD's.
