Static shutdown notebook (ESD)

Hi,

And I'm currently experiencing the same issue. My notebook shutdowns whenever it receives a static shock (me walking and coming back). Also while it's charging sometimes it randomly powers off, which makes me believe something is wrong internally. The thing is, the notebook is not in 'warranty'  as I purchased it back in 2018. However, from what I read it's a 'known issue' with this notebook model. Is this still something I can apply to and get repaired? Or is a new notebook the only solution? The notebook works perfectly besides this one issue.
